If you have the above insurances, We’d be happy to speak with you about working together & verify your benefits. Please reach out by clicking the button below. Please send us a photo of the front and back of your card and your birth date to verify your benefits.

(We do not take United Community Health Plan, which is Apple Health, which is Medicaid).

  • Superbills are monthly proof that you paid us. We provide “Superbills” to you for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. They usually reimburse you within a month.

This process takes time and effort and sometimes you have to follow up if the insurance company denied the claim for some reason.

You also have the option of using a third party service to do this work for you. Reimbursify is a service that carges $4 to do this labor for you.

  • You may use your Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for therapy (pre-tax income) by placing that card number on file. These cards cannot be used for missed or no-show appointments.

  • You may use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for therapy (pre-tax income) by placing that card number on file. These cards cannot be used for missed or no-show appointments.

  • I am an out of network (OON) provider with the Kaiser Gender Health program, providing behavioral health for transgender clients. If you are an existing client, please contact your Case Manager and let them know you’d like me to be your therapist and to have your sessions with me be reimbursed out of network.

If you’d like more information on their programs, please visit their website.

  • Your credit card is stored in the Client Portal confidentially. It is billed the day of your appointment.

What’s the next step?

  • Get in touch with me via phone, email, text, or my website. I will get back to you within 48 hours (likely sooner).

  • Then, we will schedule a consultation call. There are a few options of how to do that:

If you’re interviewing several therapists, do a free, 10-minute phone call.

If you’re pretty sure you want to work with me, we can do a 20-minute session ($25).

If you like how the relationship feels after 25 minutes being together, it’s probably a better gauge of what it’s like to work with me.

  • Intakes are the most medical-y of all our appointments. We have to go over the Informed Consent form you signed online. Then, I will ask you a long list of questions of a variety of topics. We will try to get through them quickly and without much narrative.

Once we cover our bases, we can just start talking naturally and have fun!

  • After the first appointment, I prefer to work with people weekly, especially in the beginning. It’s important for building rapport.

Having your appointment at the same time each week also gives us routine or ritual, and predictability, which are great for building the foundation of a new working relationship.

Of course, the day and time can be changed- either in a one-off, or if your school schedule changes, etc.
