Paying for Therapy
-
Superbills are monthly receipts: proof that you paid us already. You submit these to your insurance provider with a “claim”. You can be reimbursed, but only if you have “out of network benefits”. Meaning, your insurance decided you can see people who aren’t in-network with them. No two plans are alike.
We provide superbills to Washington clients only.
Insurance usually reimburses you within 1-2 months for the prior month. This process takes additional effort to track. Sometimes you have to follow up once or more. If the insurance company denies the claim for some reason, you have to resubmit your claim.
You also have the option of using a third party service to do this work for you. Reimbursify is a service that charges a few dollars to do this labor for you!
-
You may use your Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for therapy (with pre-tax income) by placing the card number on file.
These cards are not supposed to be used to pay late cancellation or no-show charges.
-
You may use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card (pre-tax income) to pay for therapy by placing that card number on file.
Sliding Scale spots are available with intern therapists
Good Faith Estimate
New federal laws help protect people from surprise medical bills. Multiply your weekly therapy cost by 48 weeks & you will arrive at your annual estimated cost for therapy.
